July 2002 newsletter now available

The July 2002 Dental Newsletter is out. It can be viewed on-line here or it can be downloaded (as an Acrobat .PDF file) for off-line viewing.

21st Century Fund Award

Inspektor Research Systems and Indiana University School of Dentistry are pleased to announce the receipt of a major grant to support the continued development of Inspektor's Quantitative Light Fluorescence system for the early detection of dental caries. This 2-year grant for $1,652,431 from the State of Indiana (US) will be used to support the refinement and marketing of this exciting new technology for use in clinical dental practice. In addition, the funding will support a series of clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of new, innovative measures for the prevention and control of dental caries in both adults and children.
This ambitious and timely program will be directed by Dr. George K. Stookey, Distinguished Professor of Preventive / Community Dentistry and Director of the Oral Health Research Institute at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, in collaboration with Dr. Elbert de Josselin de Jong, Director of Inspektor Research Systems.
